Motorola Dext is the expected first-time leader your phone in the world with the Android operating system.

The American brand has not neglected the full QWERTY keyboard despite the Motorola Dext has a touchscreen. And like many other manufacturers, has put his personal touch and distinctive which has called MotoBlur.

Motorola Sholes Comes with Android

From Russia were first leaked images of what could be the second mobile Motorola Android, Motorola Sholes. It is a slider phone with QWERTY keyboard and a very sober and elegant design that could make this the most desired phone with Android.

They have also appeared some of the technical features of the phone, including the 3.7 inch screen with a resolution of 480 × 854 pixels, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus.

But that’s not all, this mobile phone have a 512MB memory expandable to 16GB with microSD or microSDHC cards, apparently the model is sold with a 8GB card included, 256MB RAM, GPS, USB, Bluetooth 2.0 and WiFi.

It also has a size of 60 × 115.8 × 13.7 mm and weighing 169 grams, while the battery will last 450 hours standby and 420 minutes talking.

According to these rumors, Motorola Sholes should be put on sale next October, but the price unknown.

Motorola Ivory E18. A luxury phone

Motorola Aura luxury phone has caused quite a lively discussion on the interwebs when it came out.

Not sure how much of that transferred into sales – it is a mighty expensive handset with limited market – but overall reaction was very positive.

And Aura wasn’t the only product with interesting design that Motorola was prepping for Luxury/Superluxury market at the time.

The other phone it had in the works was  Motorola Ivory E18.

The cheapest one of them, with a stainless steel chassis was set to sell for about $2K Euro. There were also phones with Gold and Platinum chassis planned, with the platinum one going for several tens of thousands of Euro’s.

Motorola Ivory also had an unusual dual slider design – slide a bit and function keys appear, slide a bit more and you have a full T9 keypad.

Other then the unusual narrow luxury design and dual slider, it was a pretty plain feature phone with 3 megapixel camera and other specs similar to Moto Aura.

Alas, even if you like it and have some serious cash to spare, you won’t be able to buy Motorola Ivory anytime soon . It was cancelled due to the lack of interest from operators
