The new Blackberry Curve 8520 is RIM last attempt to the market. This Blackberry device is presented as a general profile, with poor screen resolution (320 × 240 pixels) and 2 megapixel camera. Very little in line with what the company offers with its new more advanced models.
They even waived the traditional trackball so comfortable to use and risky for an optical trackpad that may not be able to match the efficiency of the famous ball of the Blackberry.
At least Blackberry Curve 8520 no longer compensate for the WiFi connectivity is not a computer or 3G and enhanced function keys dedicated to multimedia. However, without touch screen interfaces, or spectacular, it is difficult to convince.
