ASUS T91

ASUS T91 to reach US July 15th

ASUS on Thursday, via a Twitter update, announced to the world that its T91 netbook tablet will ship on July 15th in the US, adding that its numbers will be limited. Exactly how limited wasn't disclosed however, nor which models of the T91 would ship. It was recently revealed that at least three models of the 8.9-inch netbook tablet will make it to market.

The standard 1.33GHz Atom-powered T91 will be joined by the T91go, which adds a 3G data network access, a GPS sensor and a digital DVB TV tuner, as well as the T91A, which will have a multi-touch screen with support for Windows 7, with which it will ship. If the same 3G, GPS and TV tuner from the T91go will be part of the specs is still unknown. Common to all three will be 1GB of RAM, upgradeable to 2GB, along with a 16GB solid state drive and an included 16GB SD memory card, as well as 20GB of online storage offered free of charge for 18 months. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a 0.3-megapixel camera are also shared.
Pricing still remains a mystery, but will have to be revealed next week.
