Sony Vaio NW Series

Along with the Vaio W Mini, Sony yesterday introduced a range of larger laptops, the Sony VAIO NW series, designed for enjoying multimedia content and access the Internet to work with them.

Its screen is 15.5 inches in widescreen format, and offers a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Inside you find an Intel Centrino T6500 processor at 2.1 GHz and 4 GB of RAM, a graphics card with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570. Depending on the model we can choose a hard drive between 320 and 500 GB.

The high-end model features a Blu-ray drive, enabling viewing on TV, thanks to its HDMI output. The NW Series also comes with several applications to manage multimedia content: Picture Motion Browser for managing photos and videos Vaio Movie Story, for creating videos, and VAIO Music Box, as a music player.

At the top of the keyboard include various shortcut keys. One, called WEB, offers access to a quick start with a browser, without waiting to boot the complete operating system. Another of the keys, Display Off, allows us to turn off the monitor at the time, saving energy.

All models Sony VAIO NW include three USB 2.0 ports, card reader for Memory Stick and SD memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth yExpressCard. The price of the Sony Vaio NW-815 Series starts at the simplest model of the euro and up to 949 of the unit that includes Blu-ray.
